Job summary

BOSCH USA in Charleston is seeking a skilled technician to directly support assembly lines, troubleshoot components, monitor equipment, and implement preventive measures for optimal performance. You will analyze issues, perform repairs, and drive root-cause actions to improve OEE and machine stability.

Ideal candidates have a mechatronics background, strong PLC and robotics knowledge, and the ability to lead projects while collaborating with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment.
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Directly support assembly lines by troubleshooting components.
• Monitor equipment by logging in to devices to observe functionality.
• Perform periodic checks and preventive measures for equipment utilization.
• Analyze equipment issues, perform repairs, and implement root-cause actions.
• Lead projects focused on OEE improvement and machine stability.
