Bosch Charleston is recruiting for a hands-on maintenance role supporting assembly lines with a strong emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems. You will troubleshoot components, monitor equipment, and implement corrective actions to improve machine effectiveness.

The role requires mechatronics knowledge, SAP/PLC familiarity, and willingness to work various shifts. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Clear technical communication with supervision.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite.
• Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Minimum two years in manufacturing or machining.
• Basic pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanics knowledge.
• Mechanical proficiency with leadership and teamwork.
• Willing to work alternate shifts and travel as needed.
• Mechatronics training is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Directly support assembly lines by troubleshooting components.
• Log equipment to monitor functionality and perform preventive checks.
• Analyze problems, perform repairs, and implement corrective actions for root cause elimination.
• Provide proper turnovers to next shift personnel.
• Lead projects focused on OEE improvement and machine stability.
• Develop training material and train appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and perform related duties.
