Job summary

Royal Technologies Corp. in Hudsonville, MI is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Tech to keep our injection molding and automation equipment performing at peak. You should have electrical, mechanical and hydraulic experience, PLCs or robotics, and enjoy hands-on troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.

Training begins on first shift (8am-4pm) for 2–4 months, then move to 2nd shift (4pm-12am) or 4x10s (2nd: 4pm-2am). Strong teamwork, safety focus, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing maintenance field.
• Experience with injection molding, custom automation and PLC programming preferred.
• Must have a basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
• Willing and able to work overtime.
• Ability to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repair of industrial machinery such as hydraulic & electric injection molding machines, robots, and related equipment.
• Understand electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems including servo drives, control systems, and valves.
• Apply metrology for precision setup & maintenance.
• Use predictive maintenance tech like infrared thermography & ultrasonic measurement.
• Apply math and theory to equipment maintenance.
