Job summary

Royal Technologies Corp. in Hudsonville is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Tech to keep industrial machinery performing at its best. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and PLCs, with robotics experience preferred.

The job is based at the Hudsonville-Quincy facility and reports to the Maintenance Manager. Training begins on 1st shift (8am-4pm) for 2–4 months, then moves to 3rd shift (12am-8am).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years of solid manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in the manufacturing maintenance field.
• Experience with injection molding, custom automation and PLC programming preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Willing and able to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial machinery such as hydraulic and electric injection molding machines, gantry and articulated robots, and related equipment.
• Understand electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems (including servo drives/motors and closed-loop controls).
• Apply metrology for precision setup and maintenance; use predictive maintenance tech like infrared thermography and ultrasonic testing.
• Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors and plant leaders; document issues and resolutions.
