Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep complex electromechanical equipment running and continuously improving reliability at our Wisconsin plant. You’ll work on PLCs, robotics, pumps, hydraulics, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and sustain high output.

This hands-on role requires troubleshooting with schematics, meters, and meggers, deploying root-cause fixes, and coordinating safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electromechanical systems in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose PLC-driven equipment.
• Proficiency with multimeters, amp probes, and meggers.

Responsibilities

• Decode PLC logic and ensure handshakes between machines and cells.
• Use secure VPN to connect to PLCs for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics, multimeters, amp probes, and meggers.
• Integrate and support Panasonic and Motoman robots with PLC-controlled systems.
• Be available for mandatory overtime; other duties may be assigned by the company.

• Decode PLC logic and ensure seamless handshakes between machines and cells.
• Use secure internet VPN to connect to PLCs for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
