ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Intern to apply fundamentals to real-world challenges in advanced precision systems. You will work with experienced engineers on a mechatronics or system-performance challenge tailored to your background.

You will model dynamic behavior, use MATLAB/Simulink and Python for simulation, analyze test data, conduct experiments, and present findings to the team. This internship blends analysis, modeling and hands-on hardware work.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Controls, Applied Physics or related field.
• Strong interest in mechatronics, controls, dynamics and precision systems.
• Experience via coursework, projects or research in dynamic systems, feedback control, robotics, modeling, simulation or data analysis.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink; Python or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to investigate complex problems and root causes.
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to work with engineering hardware and test setups.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical results clearly.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to drive assigned tasks independently.

Responsabilidades

• Modeling and analyzing dynamic or mechatronic system behavior.
• Using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar engineering tools for simulation and data analysis.
• Analyzing test and measurement data to understand system performance and identify potential root causes.
• Supporting structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of technical issues.
• Planning and executing experiments, tests or validation activities in the lab or on ASML equipment.
• Comparing measured behavior with models or expected system performance and developing practical recommendations.
• Collaborating with engineers across mechatronics, controls, mechanical, electrical, software and system disciplines.
• Documenting your work and presenting your findings and recommendations to the engineering team.
