Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers responsible for actuation solutions and robotic systems.

You will own the full lifecycle from concept to production readiness, partnering with controls, electrical, and software teams to deliver integrated hardware across fulfillment scale. Strong hands-on leadership and DFx experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical design with 3+ years in management.
• Experience in rotary actuation and related components (BLDC motors, gears).
• Experience with design for manufacturability and high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across mechanical and mechatronics engineering disciplines.
• Deliver mechanical and mechatronic products to market on time and within budget.
• Oversee design, modeling, prototyping, validation, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with controls, electrical, and software teams to deliver integrated systems.
