Job summary

Floe is seeking an Engineering Lead to bring structure and discipline to a fast-moving team. You will work closely with the CTO to ensure technical continuity, manage existing systems, and drive new product development while laying the foundation for scalable engineering operations.

The role combines hands‑on system building with leadership, mentoring juniors, and implementing robust processes in a startup environment. US-based relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of related engineering experience in mechatronic/electro‑mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to design, build, test, and troubleshoot hardware end‑to‑end.
• Experience leading technical projects or small teams; comfortable balancing hands‑on work with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and test mechatronic improvements (mechanical, electronic, software integration).
• Lead product development to enhance features, performance, and reliability.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality.
