Job summary

Volkswagen Group of America in Belmont, CA invites a Mechatronics Engineering Fellow for a 6–12 month program. You will join the UXDC team to explore ideas for new features and products across VW brands, participating in research, ideation, prototyping and testing to produce proofs of concept.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering concepts, prototyping, documentation, and collaboration with designers and engineers to advance production-ready concepts while learning the full product

Qualifications

• Must be rising Senior or within 6 months of graduation.
• GPA 3.0 or higher required.
• Attach official transcript with your resume to be considered.
• Degree program in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering concept development and prototyping.
• Create electronics and wire vehicles.
• Integrate new technologies and design mechanisms.
• Document work for continued development into production.
