Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. seeks a Mechatronics Engineer to design, implement, commission, and optimize industrial automation systems incorporating PLCs, robotics, motion control, industrial networks, and machine vision.

You will troubleshoot existing equipment, develop automation solutions, and support projects from concept through startup, collaborating with engineering teams, customers, and manufacturing personnel to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years designing or supporting industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, and support automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI applications, robotic systems, machine vision.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and validation; ensure safe operation.
