Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (WM) is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the design, implementation, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of industrial automation systems. This role is responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing equipment that incorporates PLCs, robotics, motion control, industrial networks, machine vision and other advanced automation technologies.
Working closely with engineering teams, customers, and manufacturing personnel, the successful candidate will troubleshoot existing equipment, develop automation solutions, improve system performance, and support projects from concept through startup.
Education Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience designing, integrating, programming, or supporting industrial automation systems.
Physical Demands of PositionSeeing, color perception, hearing and clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, climbing, and ability to mount and dismount equipment, pushing, and pulling.
Working EnvironmentStandard office environment, On-site office environment, and diverse industrial environments. Frequent PC usage, facsimile/copy machines, phones.
