Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. in Clarksville, AR is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support control systems for complex process and manufacturing applications.

You will lead electrical and instrumentation interfaces, develop PLC logic, and perform site checkouts with customers. The role covers panel design, AutoCAD schematics, and start-up assistance, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and manage smaller projects up to 250K.

Qualifications

• Experience with control systems, components and logic programming.
• Experience with instrumentation and controls design and PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Schneider Modicon, Siemens, GE-IP).
• Ability to travel up to 50% or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements control system to meet process requirements.
• Develops schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring; panels on AutoCAD.
• Lead design reviews with customer for approval of design documents.
• Work at customer site to perform system checkout and start-up.
• Develop final documentation and provide system training.
• Act as technical lead and project manager on smaller projects ($50K-$250K).
