Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in Colorado is seeking a Mechatronics Development Manager to lead embedded software, mechanical and harness, electronics, and system engineers.

You will guide design, build, test, deploy, and support mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. You will ensure milestones and budgets are met, establish requirements and specifications, review solutions, and mentor engineers to adopt best practices in mechatronics development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5 years of IC experience in mechatronics/related fields.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Experience with embedded systems programming in C/C++.
• Experience with Agile or other PM methodologies.
• Strong cross-disciplinary project management skills.
• Preferred robotics/automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers on policies and technical issues.
• Direct daily activities of the mechatronics group.
• Enforce industry best practices and standards.
• Oversee subsystem integration for seamless operation.
• Evaluate and optimize designs for manufacturability and cost.
• Provide leadership and develop team members.
