Job summary

KLA, a global leader in semiconductor metrology, seeks a Mechatronics systems design engineer to join a multidisciplinary team. You will work on data collection, analysis, calibration, and scripting in Python or Matlab, both in-lab and with hardware-in-the-loop testing.

You will design plans for system integration and testing, collaborate with customer support, and occasionally travel to customer sites. Doctorate/masters/bachelor with related experience required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 3+ years related experience or Master’s with 6+ years or Bachelor’s with 8+ years related experience.
• Experience with metrology equipment or semiconductor lab environment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites <10%.

Responsibilities

• Work on data collection, analysis, calibration and script development in Python or Matlab.
• Perform hands-on work with hardware in lab or cleanroom and gather data.
• Define plans for system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with customer support organization and travel to customer sites <10%.
