Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & Product Development: design mechanical assemblies and systems in SolidWorks and create detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Component Standardization: select preferred mechanical and electrical components to reduce variation and streamline purchasing.
• CAD & Engineering Documentation: maintain 3D models, drawings, configurable assemblies, and CAD libraries.
• Process Development: develop engineering standards and guidelines to improve design consistency and manufacturing efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: identify cost-reduction and manufacturability improvements via value engineering.
• Manufacturing Support: collaborate with Production, Purchasing and Quality to resolve issues and support new product introductions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
