Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in product/mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor.
• Ability to read and create engineering drawings, BOMs, tolerances, and specs.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and product documentation.
• Experience in industrial equipment or thermal processing is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new and existing industrial furnaces, laboratories furnaces, ovens, heaters, kilns and thermal systems.
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, BOMs, layouts and product documentation.
• Apply design for manufacturability, value engineering and standardization to improve cost and quality.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, sales and leadership for custom designs and changes.
• Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting and validation of designs.
• Evaluate materials, fabrication methods, tooling and assembly to improve production flow and reduce rework.
• Review customer requirements and specs to develop practical engineering solutions.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches and production readiness.
