Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician (Mechatronics) to support production performance, maintain and repair automation equipment, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in AutoCAD and a willingness to travel to maintain equipment and support the production line. A shift from 12:00pm to 8:30pm, Monday through Friday, is provided with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1–3 years of relevant work experience in mechatronics or engineering technology.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports technical production performance and resources.
• Monitors and analyzes equipment performance and optimizes machine performance.
• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical, electronic and mechanical components and systems.
• Coordinates machine enhancements with machine build and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Designs mechanical tooling drawings in AutoCAD and coordinates purchases.
