Job summary

CBRE is seeking Mechatronic Apprentice candidates to join the Global Workplace Solutions team. This paid apprenticeship blends classroom instruction with on-the-job learning to build skills for maintenance technician roles with a world-class leader.

Participants gain hands-on experience through 9 weeks of training and on-the-job learning, aiming for growth into maintenance or controls technician positions within CBRE's client operations.

Qualifications

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Document and review preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Foster positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
