Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice to train in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronics, mechanics, and robotics in a large distribution center. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning through classroom, lab, and on-the-job experiences.

Training occurs at multiple sites with travel for 12 weeks and focuses on PLCs, automation, and robotics under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

18 years old or older with a high school diploma or GED.
Must meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
Ability to travel to attend training at one of 3 training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks.
Basic computer skills, i.e. email, word processing, reading spreadsheets, internet browser basics.
Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Learn to perform the job of Mechatronics Junior Technician and install, alter, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer, control, and robotics/automation equipment.
Work on complex Fulfilment/Distribution Center systems under supervision and in safety-compliant environments.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers and operators to identify issues and implement solutions.
Understand technical specifications of mechatronic systems and participate in preventive maintenance.
