Job summary

JLL in Spokane, WA is seeking a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice to learn and perform the role across electronic, mechanical, computer and control systems in a modern Fulfillment/Distribution Center. The program combines classroom, lab, and on-the-job training, with emphasis on safety and hands-on experience under experienced mentors.

You'll train in PLCs, robotics, and preventive maintenance while collaborating with Automation Engineers and OEMs, gaining practical skills to diagnose

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Willing to travel to attend training at one of 3 training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks.
• Basic computer skills (email, word processing, reading spreadsheets).
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, alter, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechatronics equipment in a distribution center.
• Shadow technicians and learn PLCs and robotics in lab and on-site environments.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers and OEMs to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Follow safety policies and procedures on shop floor and during training.
