Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is launching a Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program in Oregon. This paid training pathway combines classroom instruction with on-the-job learning to prepare you for a Maintenance or Automation Technician role with a world-class leader.

Participants gain hands-on skills through 9 weeks of classroom learning and field experience, helping you develop practical expertise in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment while working with CBRE

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
