Job summary
CBRE is seeking individuals for The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship to start a career as Maintenance or Controls Technicians. The program combines 9 weeks of classroom instruction with on-the-job learning and aims to prepare apprentices for advancement within CBRE’s global network.
Participants gain hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing automated material handling systems while earning competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting activities.
- Familiarity with belts, motors, sensors and relays used in automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
- Track and store department inventory.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
