Intralox, a division of Laitram LLC, is seeking a mechanical/electromechanical design engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead early prototypes, validate equipment concepts, and outline technical feasibility using market research and product development.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, sales, product management and marketing, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely handoffs to development while balancing cost, quality and time-to-market.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is required.
6+ years of experience in equipment design and 6+ years combined engineering experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage relationships.
Willingness to travel 10–20% (mostly domestic, some international).

Responsabilités

Design and develop early electromechanical prototypes to test technical limitations.
Validate new automated equipment assumptions using market research and product development.
Outline technical feasibility in support or opposition of ideas and technologies.
Produce weekly progress reports and next steps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to progress work and ensure timely market delivery.
