Mechatronic Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift

Join GXO Logistics as a Mechatronic Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift.

Location and Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am.

Role Overview: As a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, you'll work with advanced manufacturing equipment, including robots and automated systems, using your mechanical, electrical, computer, and software skills. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and provide recommendations for facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform operational checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
2. Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical components.
3. Work at heights up to 125 feet, climb ladders, and operate mobile equipment safely.
4. Use schematics, blueprints, and manuals for repairs.
5. Provide insights on equipment and facility improvements.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience with industrial electronic and electrical systems.
• Ability to work at heights and pass Fall Protection Training.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized equipment.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and engineering knowledge.

Preferred: Experience in ISO or AS9100 environments, warehousing, or 3PL.

Additional Requirements: Ability to lift and carry various weights, work in confined spaces, and around electromagnetic fields, following safety protocols.
