  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles or equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and systems (engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical).
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure repairs meet specs and safety standards.
  • Maintain service records and communicate repair needs and timelines to customers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires hands‑on experience with mechanical systems, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles or equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and document work performed
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers about repair needs and timelines
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred (e.g., ASE certification)
  • Proven experience as a mechanic or technician (minimum [X] years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic tools and systems
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documents
  • Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and tools, and work in varying conditions
  • Valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record, if applicable)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with [specific brands or types of vehicles/equipment]
  • Welding or fabrication skills
  • Knowledge of computerized diagnostic systems and software
  • CDL A preferred
Work Environment
  • This role involves standing, bending, lifting, and working in both indoor and outdoor settings. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
