Job summary

Victoryshallotte is seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our busy repair shop in North Carolina. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance tasks, and communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and timelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree or automotive training, and ASE/SAE certification is a plus. You will help maintain equipment, prepare estimates, and contribute to high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or automotive service technician training is preferred.
• ASe/SAE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
