Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a detail-oriented Wastewater Treatment Mechanical Estimator for Meridian, NC. The role focuses on evaluating project specifications, developing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring projects stay within budget on wastewater treatment and heavy civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in CM/CE, proven estimating experience, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CM, CE, or related field.
Experience as Estimator in construction, preferably heavy civil projects.
Strong knowledge of wastewater and water treatment construction processes.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Analyze project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for WWTP projects.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data for estimating.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define scope and objectives.
Prepare and present detailed proposals and bids to clients.
Monitor budgets and provide regular cost performance updates.
Research and source materials, labor, and equipment costs for accuracy.
Maintain a pricing database for future reference.
Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for competitiveness.
Support project teams through bid preparation and estimation processes.
