Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance and welding experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, and/or Stick) required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed to support maintenance and production needs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Complete welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick) for repairs and fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure work is completed in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance.
