Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician/machine repairman or related work.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/design schematics.
• Ability to work in a safety-focused environment.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Interpret schematics, prints, diagrams, and instructions and apply them to the task.
• Troubleshoot and identify hazards and diagnose malfunctioning systems.
• Perform corrective, preventive maintenance and calibrations.
• Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation.
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts.
• Perform welding, grinding, and flame cutting activities.
• Operate tool room equipment (lathe, mill, drill presses).
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Comply with company procedures and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned by supervision.
