Job summary

Power Design, Inc. seeks a BIM Specialist to collaborate with engineers and the preconstruction team to craft innovative, value-engineered electrical construction plans for large-scale projects. In a fast-paced environment, you will draft accurate designs and coordinate with project management to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM), and 3D modeling is a plus. NEC knowledge and a focus on quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of CADD experience with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM). 3D modeling experience is preferred.
• Perfectionist committed to quality with general electrical knowledge including NEC.
• Collaborative team player who works with engineers and the preconstruction team to create value-engineered construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate and cost-effective electrical design plans with project teams.
• Communicate with project management and design team to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare external references (xrefs) from architectural, mechanical and plumbing drawings for large-scale electrical projects.
