Job summary

Intellectt Inc is seeking a Mechanical Tool Designer in the United States. The role focuses on designing manufacturing automation systems, conveyors, and tooling with strong AutoCAD and SolidWorks proficiency.

You will develop, review, and optimize mechanical designs and BOMs, while coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include performing strength/feasibility analyses, creating detailed drawings, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in designing and implementing manufacturing automation systems.
• Proficient in machine design for high-speed automation.
• Ability to coordinate with on-site/offshore teams and manage 10–12 members.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations related to strength, speed, and force.
• Develop working drawings and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Evaluate feasibility of sequential manufacturing operations and ensure OSHA/CE compliance.
• Review designs for material selection, machining techniques, and finishes.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors, and technicians.
• Support design activities and supervise project-level design work.
