Job summary

Element Materials Technology Cincinnati lab is seeking technicians to join our aerospace testing team. You will prepare specimens and perform mechanical tests, collecting precise data and ensuring standard compliance. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a modern lab.

Shifts are 10 hours, four days per week, with weekend work as needed. Opportunities exist to grow skills in fatigue, fracture mechanics, and extreme-environment testing while contributing to global testing and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or lab coursework is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic algebra/geometry skills helpful.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare test specimens and run mechanical tests per customer and industry standards.
  • Collect, record, and verify accurate data.
  • Inspect, maintain, and calibrate test fixtures and lab equipment.
  • Uphold laboratory safety, organization, and efficiency.
  • Work alongside senior technicians or under supervision as needed.

Overview

Pay: $20–$26/hr. DOE

Shift: | 7AM–5PM, including weekend days (4 Days per week!)

Days: | Wednesday - Saturday (2 openings) OR Sunday - Wednesday (1 opening)Join the aerospace testing team at Element’s Cincinnati lab — a recognized leader in testing, inspection, and product certification with over 40 years of experience. Our 60,000sqft facility and 250+ test machines support a broad portfolio of services in metals, composites , and advanced aerospace materials. As part of our aerospace team, your work will contribute directly to testing protocols in extreme environments, fatigue, fracture mechanics, monotonic loading, and more.
