Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Mechanical Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Newark, DE. The role involves conducting mechanical, thermal, and wear tests, collecting data, and ensuring adherence to test methods and industry standards.

You will work with Instron and other equipment, support R&D on material testing, and report findings per internal guidelines. The position pays $22–$25 per hour and requires proven lab experience and knowledge of lab safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab environment with mechanical testing equipment.
• Familiar with safety culture in lab settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)

• Paying $22 - $25 per hour; depending on experience
