Job summary

Applied Engineering in Fargo, ND is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to join a hands-on lab team focused on high-quality testing, data-driven decisions, and career growth. Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on lab testing experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical tests and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on lab work including test setup, data acquisition, and teardown.
• Design and develop mechanical tests based on engineering requirements.
• Set up and remove test fixtures using cranes and forklifts.
• Configure data acquisition systems for component and system testing.
• Build and verify mechanical assemblies for repeatable test conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate objectives into procedures.
• Analyze and report test data to support decisions.
