The Role

Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full time, 6 months in duration.

What You’ll Do

• Provide accurate, expedient characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment
• Analyze test data, write test reports and PowerPoint presentations and give presentations
• Work on testing projects with Team members
• Develop new, creative, and robust test methods with high regard for product reliability
• Design, build and test laboratory equipment and test fixtures

What We Seek

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in product testing, laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and problem-solving

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co‑ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery

Routinely lift 20# loads and able to perform hands‑on testing in a laboratory

Compensation

$20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
