Job summary

Pratt Industries in Indiana is seeking a Mechanical Technician Manager to lead our mechanical maintenance team and own site reliability. This high-impact role focuses on improving equipment longevity, safety, and continuous improvement across the mill.

You will supervise a skilled team, manage capital projects and outages, mentor technicians, and ensure compliance with mechanical integrity standards while driving performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of boilers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Exceptional leadership, crisis management, and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and technical documentation (blueprints, P&IDs).

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance strategy and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize site reliability.
  • Supervise, hire, and develop a high-performing mechanical team.
  • Oversee capital projects and facility outages, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
