Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Level 3/4) to support hydraulic and mechanical testing of flight hardware, including assembly, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders, actuators, and test fixtures.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who can work independently or in small teams using blueprints and procedures, with experience in MS Office; DoD Secret Clearance is required or able to be obtained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 4 years of technician experience
• Experience with blueprints, drawings, diagrams, or schematics
• Experience with hydraulic systems and/or structural/mechanical testing
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Assemble, plumb, and operate hydraulic power units and valve systems
• Install, align, bleed, and maintain hydraulic cylinders/actuators
• Set up and operate structural test equipment and fixtures
• Instrument test articles with strain gauges and sensors; perform basic wiring
• Configure and run closed-loop control and monitor test data
• Perform tube/line work, leak checks, and basic repair
• Operate lift equipment safely and document results
