Equiliem seeks a Mechanical Technician I in Jackson, MI to support testing, assembly, and evaluation of hydraulic and mechanical components in a lab and manufacturing environment. You will set up product tests, maintain equipment, fabricate fixtures, and document results. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings are essential.

Minimum 2 years in a technical or lab setting, HS diploma required. U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical testing, lab ops, manufacturing, or related tech
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and specs
• Familiarity with measurement instruments and data acquisition tools

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct mechanical and hydraulic product testing per specs.
• Review drawings and project instructions to determine testing requirements.
• Configure and maintain testing equipment for product evaluation.
• Fabricate and assemble fixtures, components, and test equipment as needed.
• Create sketches and drawings to support fabrication and test setup.
• Record and organize test data and documentation.
• Inspect components using measuring instruments to verify specs.
