PARAGON ENERGY SOLUTIONS LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Mechanical Technician I to join our team. The role performs tests and inspections on a wide variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical components to support critical energy projects.

The technician will design and implement test setups, perform failure analyses, and ensure parts meet safety-related specifications for nuclear utilities; strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required.
Able to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization.
A high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electro-mechanical components.
Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements.
Perform failure analysis of various components.
Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components.
Dedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety related applications in nuclear utilities.
Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
Additional duties and tasks assigned by management.
