You will perform functional tests, troubleshoot complex parts, and design test setups. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and basic computer skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively across all functions the organization.
• Must have a high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Has an electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Has time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills. (File Organization, Email, etc.)
• Proficiency in using equipment: Meters, Variacs, Power Supplies, Ductors, Megger, Hi-pot, Calipers, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical components.
• Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements.
• Perform failure analysis of various components.
• Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components.
• Dedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety related applications in nuclear utilities.
• Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
• Additional duties and tasks assigned by management.
