Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to our high safety and quality standards. You’ll work in a climate-controlled shop, gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models, and contribute to restoring customer confidence with every repair.

We offer training, team collaboration, and a new hire bonus up to 5,000 based on experience. The role is full-time, on-site, with hourly pay ranging from $24.70 to $41.94, and benefits as

Qualifications

• Experience repairing engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• ASE certifications in Steering/Suspension, Brakes, HVAC, Electrical, and more.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards.
• Collaborate with a team to solve technical challenges quickly.
