Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA, seeks a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards of safety and quality. You’ll work with a collaborative team, across engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC, using advanced tools in a climate-controlled facility.

We offer hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a new hire bonus up to $5,000 based on experience. Valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are preferred to ensure top performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
