Job summary

Seven Counties Services seeks a full-time Plumber for Central State Hospital, with a dayshift Monday–Friday schedule. The role will perform plumbing tasks across construction, maintenance, and repair, including boiler connections and preventative maintenance, at facilities around Louisville Metro.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Journeyman License, two years of experience, and an active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for plumbing duties in construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, remodeling or removal and replacement of plumbing.
• Plans and implements preventative maintenance program for plumbing lines, valves, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
• Inspects plumbing lines, fixtures and equipment to determine necessary repairs.
• Responds to plumbing repair work orders and emergency requests as assigned.
• Repairs and replaces leaking lines, faucets, and plumbing apparatus and equipment.
• Installs plumbing lines and valves to boilers and heating equipment.

Job Description: Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Plumber to join our team. This dayshift position will primarily work Monday through Friday.

Job Duties

• Responsible for plumbing duties in the construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, remodeling or removal and replacement of plumbing.
• Plans and implements preventative maintenance program for plumbing lines, valves, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
• Inspects plumbing lines, fixtures and equipment to determine necessary repairs.
• Responds to plumbing repair work orders and emergency requests as assigned.
• Repairs and replaces leaking lines, faucets, and plumbing apparatus and equipment.
• Installs plumbing lines and valves to boilers and heating equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet the demands of the department including plumbing, carpentry, flooring installation and repair, ceiling tile installation and repair, locksmith, landscaping, HVAC.
