Inteplast Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician A to ensure production equipment operates efficiently through daily maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and reading various mechanical and electrical prints.

This role requires 12-hour shifts, overtime as needed, and strict adherence to safety rules. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of productive teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment (including extruders).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical tasks: troubleshoot and repair gear boxes; replace bearings, chains, belts and pulleys; MIG weld, Stick weld, drill and tap threaded holes; read mechanical prints.
• Electrical tasks: troubleshoot and replace AC/DC drives, temperature controls, start/stop controls, troubleshoot PLCs, wire 3-phase motors; read diagrams.
