Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure production equipment operates efficiently by performing daily maintenance and repairs. The role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment, reading prints, and performing preventive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment (including extruders).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical tasks: troubleshoot and repair gear boxes; replace bearings, chains, belts and pulleys; MIG weld, Stick weld, drill and tap threaded holes; read mechanical prints.
• Electrical tasks: troubleshoot and replace AC/DC drives, temperature controls, start/stop electrical controls, PLCs; replace and wire 3-phase motors; read various diagrams.
• Basic plumbing skills and knowledge of fittings and thread types.
• Comply with all safety rules and procedures; maintain records; work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment (including extruders).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical tasks: troubleshoot and repair gear boxes. Troubleshoot and replace bearings, chains, belts and pulleys.MIG weld, Stick weld, drill and tap threaded holes. Read mechanical prints.

• Individual must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Performs other duties as required, or assigned by Supervisor.
