Our expanding organization is looking for a talented Machine Builder / Automation Assembly Technician to contribute to our mission. You will play a vital role in the assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of bespoke automation solutions designed for cleaning, assembly, and testing processes. Primary Duties
- Construct mechanical assemblies and machine frameworks by strictly following engineering blueprints and technical documentation.
- Perform electrical installations, including wiring control panels, sensors, motors, and various machine-integrated systems.
- Configure and integrate industrial robotic platforms, specifically focusing on ABB, Fanuc, and KUKA systems.
- Help ensure project success by assisting with machine commissioning, rigorous testing, and initial startup procedures.
- Perform necessary modifications, system upgrades, and maintenance on pre‑existing automated machinery.
- Contribute to final machine acceptance testing and provide support during production runs.
- Travel to client sites to facilitate equipment installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing service support.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, controls, and project departments to guarantee high‑quality machine builds and client success.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and high‑quality work environment for the entire team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of technical training, an apprenticeship, or a degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Machine Building, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
- Background in the assembly and diagnostic troubleshooting of specialized machinery or industrial automation equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and detailed assembly guides.
- Solid understanding of pneumatic systems, industrial electrical wiring, and core machine components.
- Practical experience utilizing robotic systems is considered a significant advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with an analytical approach to problem‑solving.
