Job summary

PRI Global is seeking a hands-on CNC operator who will program parts using templated CAM workflows in Fusion 360, load/unload materials, and monitor multiple machines to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires reading 2D/3D CAD files and maintaining production quality in a prototyping environment.

You will also communicate with customers and update internal tracking tools as production progresses. Training is provided to cover job-specific SOPs and equipment care.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or equivalent).
• Experience operating CNC machinery, hobby or professional.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D digital design files.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, check machine status, and start jobs to meet delivery commitments.
• Remove finished parts, clean and post-process as required, protecting key features.
• Update the task management platform to keep requesters informed of status.
• Follow SOPs to maintain equipment and ensure required tools and materials are on hand.

Job description

This role is the backbone of the service we provide to our partners. You will work hands-on in the operation of industrial-grade CNC machining equipment, programming parts using templated CAM programs, communicating with customers, and ensuring that we deliver on-time. As CNC machining is a critical part of our prototyping services, we're looking for people with a background in digital design coupled with an interest in making things, and we're willing to train the right person in the specifics of the job.

Efficiently program parts using templated CAM programs in Fusion 360

• Load and unload materials, check machine status, and launch jobs at regular intervals to ensure delivery commitments are made.
• Remove finished parts from machines, clean and post-process as required, being careful to protect or highlight key features.
• Make updates in task management platform to keep requesters apprised of job status.
• Using existing SOPs, maintain equipment and ensure all tools and materials needed are on hand to ensure continuous production.

Must Have:

• 1 Experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or equivalent)
• 2 CNC machine operation -- hobby or commercial grade
• 3 Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D digital design files

Nice to have:

• Experience in a prototyping shop environment
• 3 SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Rhino familiarity
