Job summary

Airflow Performance is seeking a Mechanical Technician to assemble and test fuel systems, ensuring quality and safety per work instructions. You will use diagrams, tools, and ERP data, troubleshoot issues, and verify functionality with thorough documentation. Prior automotive mechanic experience is highly preferred as these skills transfer well; compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour for full-time employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Overhauls and builds new fuel systems.
  • Evaluates cores and their documents before assembly and test.
  • Ensures the accuracy of documented information and parts before assembly.
  • Complies with Quality Manual requirements and procedures.
  • Maintains the Quality System and seeks continuous improvement.
  • Pass pre-employment and any random drug tests.
  • Maintain detailed, organized documentation and a clean work area.

The Mechanical Technician assembles and tests various components which Airflow supports, ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in accordance with applicable work instructions. The Assembly Test Technician utilizes technical diagrams and work instructions, uses tools and machinery to assemble parts, troubleshoots any issues, and conducts thorough testing to verify functionality. Attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and a meticulous approach are crucial in this role to ensure the reliability and performance of the final product, while all applicable documentation is accurate embracing and demonstrating Airflow's Core Values of Integrity, Trust, Teamwork, and Accountability.


Experience as an automotive mechanic is highly preferred as the learned skills transfer very well into this role.


The Mechanical Technician demonstrates competency in the role, meeting job requirements and expectations, consistently exhibiting reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and improve.


Responsibilities: (additional duties may be assigned)


  • The Mechanical Technician overhauls and builds new fuel systems.

  • Evaluates cores and their associated documents before beginning assembly and test.

  • Confirms and understands the accuracy of documented information and the parts in the bin before Assembly begins.

  • Ensures that the assembly and test of the fuel system is in compliance with Airflow's Quality Manual requirements.

  • Conforms to quality procedures, standard operating procedures, and company work instructions always seeking continuous improvement.

  • Employees maintain the Quality System based on current knowledge and understanding of the required procedural conformances.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, and any random drug tests.

  • Maintain detailed, organized, and accurate documentation. Keep work area clean and orderly.


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Minimum 3 years mechanical experience with strong mechanical aptitude.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Starting Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
