Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking an Assembly/Test Technician in Elyria, Ohio. You will assemble, test and overhaul products with mechanical and electrical components, while following specifications and safety standards.
You will interpret blueprints, record test results, and contribute to lean improvements. Collaboration with team members and adherence to quality directives are essential in this role.
Accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of moderate to complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. May overhaul/repair several product families. Works on products that contain mechanical and electrical components, and multiple product families. Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and cost savings through waste elimination. Actively participates in high performance team meeting and daily board meetings. Receives general supervisory guidance.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to talk, hear and demonstrate manual dexterity by using hands to assemble parts and use test equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to distinguish between colors without assistance. The team member is required to use hands to operate a computer. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance, the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
