About AGI

Advanced Giga Inc. designs, fabricates, and deploys modular data center infrastructure for hyperscale operators. Our flagship products, the MDH (Modular Data Hall), MTCS (Modular Technology Cooling System), and MES (Modular Energy Server), are factory-built, tested, and commissioned before they ever leave our facility. We are not a general contractor. We are an engineering-led manufacturer that owns the full lifecycle: design, fabrication, controls integration, factory acceptance testing, delivery, and on-site commissioning.

We are a small, high-impact team where your decisions directly shape outcomes on programs worth tens of millions of dollars. If you have spent your career inside large organizations and are looking for a place where your experience actually gets used, not diluted across layers of bureaucracy, this is it.

The Role

AGI is hiring a Mechanical Technician to work on our modules where they are built. You will support mechanical completion and testing at the fabrication shop: pressure tests, flushing operations, instrument installation, equipment checks, and the hundred hands-on tasks that stand between a fabricated module and a tested one.

This is a craft seat with a growth path: technicians who master our systems become the startup and commissioning specialists who travel with the modules to hyperscale sites.

What You Will Actually Do

• Support hydrostatic and leak testing: rig test equipment, hold pressures, chase leaks, and document results
• Operate the flushing skid under the startup engineer's direction: hose-ups, filter changes, velocity runs, and sampling
• Install and mount instrumentation: transmitters, gauges, thermowells, and tubing runs per hookup drawings
• Perform torque verification, valve lineups, and mechanical checklist tasks with disciplined documentation
• Support first runs of pumps and heat-rejection equipment: readings, observations, and assistance to the startup engineers
• Fill, vent, and drain coolant systems safely, and handle glycol per procedure
• Maintain shop test equipment: pumps, hoses, calibrated gauges, and the flushing skid itself
• Keep work areas orderly and support material staging for the test and startup scope
• Assist FAT execution and client witness days: setup, operation, and cleanup

Who You Are

• 3+ years as an industrial mechanic, pipefitter, millwright, or mechanical technician
• Hands-on experience with piping systems: fit-up awareness, gaskets and torque practice, valves, and pressure testing
• Able to read piping drawings, P&IDs at a working level, and instrument hookup details
• Careful, documented work habits: checklists completed honestly, readings recorded accurately
• Safe-work discipline around pressure, rotating equipment, and energized systems (LOTO awareness)
• Physically capable of shop work: lifting, climbing, and sustained hands-on activity

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in modular fabrication, skid building, or industrial plant maintenance
• Basic instrumentation skills (calibrators, multimeters) or interest in growing into startup work
• Forklift certification; rigging awareness
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• OSHA 10/30

What We Offer

• Comprehensive benefits package including insurance and 401K match
• Direct impact on a high-growth company at the intersection of manufacturing and critical infrastructure
• Ownership of your domain: you set the processes, you build the relationships, you drive the outcomes
• A technical leadership team that speaks your language (engineering-led company, not sales-led)
